As part of Amplify Austin Day on March 6, Aquasana is donating $5,000 to match individual contributions made that day. This 24-hour giving event supports over 700 nonprofits across Central Texas, and we’re honored to play a role in making an impact. The Food Bank provides more than 54 million meals a year to those in need, and our donation will help them continue their critical work.
According to Sari Vatske, President & CEO of the Central Texas Food Bank, food insecurity is a growing issue, with 1 in 5 kids in Central Texas lacking reliable access to nutritious meals. Donations from Aquasana and other corporate sponsors will help expand the Feeding Futures School Pantry Program, which supports children and their families in a familiar and accessible location.
Derek Mellencamp, Aquasana’s General Manager, shared why this partnership means so much to us: "National Nutrition Month is a great reminder that access to healthy food and clean water isn’t equal for everyone. Last year, our donation helped raise enough to cover groceries for more than 30,000 families. We’re proud to support the Central Texas Food Bank again and help nourish even more kids and families this year."
To celebrate this year’s National Nutrition Month® theme, “Food Connects Us,” we’re also giving away our Clean Water Machine on Instagram! This powerful countertop filter removes up to 99% of 78 contaminants—like lead, PFAS, microplastics, and chlorine—and helps replace up to 2,200 plastic bottles with each filter cartridge.
