Aquasana is pleased to announce that our Clean Water Bottle and our 3-Stage Max Flow Under Counter Filter have both been selected as finalists for the 2019 Eco-Excellence Awards in the categories “Best Reusable Bottle” and “Best Water Filtration System”, respectively.
The Aquasana Clean Water Bottle is a small-yet-mighty stainless steel bottle that holds 17 oz. of water and comes with a filter that reduces 99 percent of heavy metals like lead. Each filter replaces over 600 plastic water bottles from entering the environment.
The Aquasana 3-Stage Max Flow Under Counter Filter reduces 15x more contaminants than the leading pitcher filter, including 97 percent of chlorine and chloramines, as well as lead and mercury, chlorine-resistant cysts like giardia and cryptosporidium, herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, pharmaceuticals and more. It’s our best performing water filter that features a 44 percent faster water flow and 800 gallons of filter life capacity.
The Eco-Excellence Awards™ is a natural and parenting-focused consumer product awards program that recognizes excellence in social and environmental sustainability. Sponsored by Natural Child World magazine, the process for selecting winners centers around an extensive review conducted by the magazine’s editorial team followed by a public voting process to select the winners. These two products were selected as finalists by a panel of celebrity judges, including Alicia Silverstone, after a lengthy review process.
In 2018, there were more than 364,000 participants voting on more than 500 products when our Stainless Steel Insulated Bottle won “Best Reusable Bottle” over other national brands including S’well and Klean Kanteen.
