How to Add Water Softener Cleaner
Whole House SimplySoft® Water Softener Cleaner
1. How many uses does this bottle include?
This 32 ounce bottle contains two uses. Use 16 ounces for each cleaning.
2. How do you use the Water Softener Cleaner?
Pour 16 ounces (half the bottle) directly into the brine well of your system. If your softener does not have a brine well, add it directly into the salt tank when the salt level is low. Start a manual regeneration cycle immediately. If you notice any taste, odor, or discoloration in the water, repeat the regeneration process. Finally, run the cold water tap nearest to the softener until the water tastes, smells, and looks normal.
3. How often should I use the Water Softener Cleaner?
Recommended frequency of use is every 3 months or 4 times per year.
